We would like to thank everyone who participated in our Pre-Event COVID-19 Survey. Your feedback has helped us to better understand your comfort level regarding this policy and it has given us a new direction.
These are uncertain times and as a young event heading into our 5th year, the MLGG is being ever so challenged with the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Bighorn Fire. So, as a team and with your help, we’re going to do everything we can to produce a high quality and safe experience for everyone involved while recognizing that we may get to a point where that becomes impossible.
We are asking for your help to sustain the MLGG into the future and to help raise funds for our local non-profits. Without a doubt, we have upfront costs associated with hosting the MLGG. With our great partners and pre-event planning, we have been able to push back our financial commitments to maximize flexibility. If we are able to come together on October 31, 2020, it will be one for the history books, to say the least! If we are unable to come together, we will be back in 2021 on the last Saturday in October. With your help, together, following the guidelines put forth by the CDC and Public Health Officials, we will do everything we can to ensure health and safety while producing the 5th Annual Mt Lemmon Gravel Ginder presented by Pinal County.
Please Note: The MLGG will be held rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, natural disaster, etc. that could endanger participants or volunteers, the event may be modified, shortened, postponed, or canceled. If for any reason the event is canceled, including but not limited COVID-19, you will have a choice of the following options presented here. If for any reason, the MLGG is required to reduce the number of participants in order to proceed with the event in 2020, the field limit will be adjusted utilizing the registration date and time stamp, and priority given on a first-registered-first-served basis. The remaining participants will be waitlisted and further given the options presented here.
With that, we’ve created a new and improved Refund & Deferment Policy to include Transfer of Entry with the following options:
1 - FULL Deferment:
16+ Days out 100% Deferment before October 16th
15 Days or Less - No Deferment
2 - A Sliding Scale Refund:
60+ Days out 100% Refund before August 31st
45+ Days out 75% Refund before September 15th
30+ Days out 50% Refund before September 30th
16+ Days out 25% Refund before October 16th
15 Days or less - No Refund
3 - Transfer of Entry:
16+ Days out FREE Transfer of entry to another distance before October 16th
15 Days or less - a $20 transfer fee will be charged.
Transfer of entry to another participant is not available.
